The 3rd Annual Center for School Behavioral Health Conference will take place on September 28th, 2018 at Region 4 ESC. The conference, titled “Why Do Students Act This Way and What Can I Do About It?” will have 3 tracks – Social and Emotional Learning, Trauma, and High-Risk Behaviors. We expect 600 teachers, school and district administrators, counselors, social workers, and other professionals to attend.

 

Special Guest Laura van Dernoot Lipsky

Laura van Dernoot Lipsky is the founder and director of The Trauma Stewardship Institute and author of Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others. Widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of trauma exposure, she has worked locally, nationally, and internationally for more than three decades.
