Mental Health 101

Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experience a mental illness in a given year? Did you know that 1.1% of adults in the U.S. live with schizophrenia? Or 2.6% of adults in the U.S. live with bipolar disorder? Attend the next Mental Health 101 training to learn more about what these statistics mean, including the signs, symptoms, and treatments for these disorders and more.

Join United Way of Greater Houston-Bay Area and Mental Health America of Greater Houston for Mental Health 101. You will learn about the common mental illnesses, identify their signs and symptoms, increase a working knowledge of how to find community behavioral health resources, and enhanced the ability to coach consumers to access resources.
